    Update on alleged stabbing incident at McDonald’s near Central

    SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — Update, Oct. 1, 4:11 p.m. —San Angelo ISD placed Central High School on a brief hold in response to criminal activity at the McDonald’s near Central.

    Original, Oct. 1, 3:37 p.m. — The San Angelo Police Department has launched an investigation into an alleged stabbing incident that occurred at the McDonald’s at 520 N. Bryant Blvd. in the afternoon of Oct. 1.

    According to a San Angelo Police Department officer at the scene, the incident occurred after a fight turned into a stabbing. Those who were stabbed have been transported to the hospital for treatment.

    It is unknown at this time whether the suspect or suspects responsible for the stabbing have been apprehended.

    A Central High School representative stated that the campus was temporarily put on hold as a precautionary measure in response to the incident. This hold has since been lifted.

    The SAPD has announced that it will hold a press conference at 5 p.m. on Oct. 1.
