(NEXSTAR) – Political scientists will tell you that vice presidential nominees rarely swing the election in favor of the candidate at the top of the ticket. But poll after poll shows this election cycle coming down to a percentage point across a handful of key swing states. A few thousand Americans getting inspired to register and vote could determine who resides in the White House come January of 2025.

Heading into Tuesday, the debate between Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Ohio Senator J.D. Vance had the potential to convince a few of the remaining undecideds to pick a ticket or get up and register in time for the Nov. 5 election.

Now that we’ve seen the candidates on stage in New York, we wanted to hear from you. Was there a clear winner?

With just over a month to go, early voting has already begun in several states across the country. As of now, there are no scheduled debates between Vice President Kamala Harris and Former President Donald Trump between now and election day.
