Knauf Insulation announces new facility in McGregor

Shelbyville, IN / McGregor, Texas ( FOX 44 ) – A leading manufacturer of building materials has announced a new facility in McGregor.

This will be the eighth location of Knauf Insulation, Inc. across the United States. The company says this Central Texas facility is three years in the making.

The facility is equipped with the latest in manufacturing technology and tools and measures 600,000 square feet. Knauf says it intends to produce and distribute a wide range of Performance+ fiberglass building insulation for commercial and residential use.

Knauf says McGregor was chosen as the site for this new facility due in part to its central location in the Greater Waco region, which offers access to a great workforce and an incredibly supportive community. This Knauf investment brings nearly 200 jobs to McGregor as well as a lasting, positive impact on the local economy.
