HIGHLIGHTS: Grape Creek celebrates homecoming weekend with blowout win

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — Click the video above to watch week six highlights between TLCA San Angelo and Grape Creek on Friday, Oct. 4.

This year’s homecoming was one to remember for the Grape Creek Eagles. Coming off back to back losses, Grape Creek was hungry for a win Friday night.

Grape Creek jumped right out of the gate, quickly scoring two touchdowns in the blink of an eye to lead 12-0. Senior wide receiver Lane Kluesner stole the show during the next two possessions, scoring a touchdown on an end around carry followed by a receiving touchdown from Braley Woods.

Grape Creek cruised to a 74-0 shutout victory, improving to 2-4 this season while TLCA San Angelo falls to 0-5. Both teams open district play in Week 7 as Grape Creek hosts Coahama and TLCA San Angelo travels to face Sweetwater.
