Over 70 grams of meth seized, 2 arrested in Coleman

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — Two people have been arrested in Coleman after the execution of a search warrant resulted in over 70 grams of methamphetamine being seized.

According to the Coleman Police Department , a search warrant was executed in the 600 block of West 13th Street on Monday, Oct. 7. Approximately 74 grams of meth “as well as scales, packaging material and other items of drug paraphernalia” were seized as a result. A firearm was also discovered at the location.

Donna Sue Walters, 60, of Coleman and Scottie Dale Tubbs, 30, of Runnels County were arrested while at the scene and transported to the Coleman County Jail. Both have been charged with the manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance in an amount over four grams but less than 200 grams while in a drug-free zone.

Both arrested individuals have a $75,000 bond due to the manufacture and delivery charge. Tubbs also has an additional $10,000 bond due to a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
