Skechers store opens in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — Months after appearing in the City of San Angelo’s permits and inspections reports, a Skechers location has opened in town.

The store officially opened for business on Oct. 10. It can be found at 4141 Sunset Drive, the former location of Party City before the party supply shop closed in July 2023.

The Skechers store first appeared in the City’s January 2024 permits and inspections report with an estimated cost of $400,000. It remained listed as a pending project in each subsequent month’s report until June 2024, after which it was not listed as either a pending project or an issued project.

The store specializes in selling shoes, clothing and accessories for multiple lifestyles.

According to the shop’s listing on the Skechers website , the location will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on every other day of the week.

With the addition of the San Angelo location, Skechers now operates 55 stores across Texas. The shop joins over 5,000 stores operated internationally, as per the Skechers website .
