San Angelo Central opens district at Midland Legacy

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — The San Angelo Central Bobcats will open district on the road against defending 2-6A champion Midland Legacy on Friday.

Central is 3-2 under first-year head coach Mark Smith, and Legacy is 1-4.

The Bobcats wrapped up non-district with a 37-6 homecoming victory against Waco High two weeks ago. The Rebels are coming off a 38-6 loss at home against Ruston, Louisiana.

Central has lost four straight games against Legacy.
