HIGHLIGHTS: Central handed a tough loss to open District play

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) The Central Bobcats entered week 7 on a three game win streak as they traveled to take on the defending district champ, the Midland Legacy Rebels. Unfortunately Central was handed a tough loss to open District play.

The Rebels took the early lead in the first quarter as JP Reyes finds Aiden Serrano to set up a touchdown the next play. The Rebels would go up 15-0 before turning the ball over to Central and Kasen Rogers. The Bobcats brought the score to 15-6 after a failed two point conversion and would go down 35-16 at half. With the final score 42-23 in favor of the Rebels.

The Bobcats host the infamous Mojo next week at home, now 3-3 on the season and 0-1 in district play.
