Stango’s Pizza Parlor opens in downtown San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — Stango’s Pizza Parlor has officially opened in downtown San Angelo, reviving a local cuisine two years after the previous Stango’s location closed.

According to the Stango’s Pizza Parlor Facebook page , the business opened at 11 a.m. on Oct. 15 in the old Sealy Flats building, located at 208 S. Oakes St. The hours of operation listed on the page state that the restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The opening comes after Stango’s Coffee Shop closed in October 2022. In a previous interview , business owner Steve Stango cited financial difficulties brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic as one of the driving factors behind the decision to close.

Stango also stated in the interview that the parlor will sell the same pizza baked at the coffee shop years ago. He said the location will include a higher-quality menu that is more limited than its predecessor.
