SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — Click the video above for the latest on the Junction Eagles and hear from head coach Scott Freeman.

The Junction Eagles are soaring. After its 35-12 loss to the Mason Punchers in week four, Junction used its bye week to recharge and has cruised in district play ever since.

Junction defeated district opponents Rocksprings and Center Point in consecutive weeks by scores of 76-0 and 65-0, respectively. According to head coach Scott Freeman, keys to success include winning the trenches battle and limiting turnovers.

“I think offensively we’ve done a very good job of not turning the ball over. Anytime you go on a stretch like we have without turnovers, good things will happen. We’ve done a very good job blocking up front. The offensive line has done a phenomenal job of creating holes for our running backs and quarterback,” Freeman said.

Junction hosts Brackettville in week eight, seeking a 3-0 start in District 14-2A Division II competition.
