SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — Click the video above to view highlights from Angelo State’s win over St. Mary’s on Oct. 16, 2024.

It started with a slow first half, but the Angelo State Belles cruised in the second half on Wednesday night.

While the Belles outshot the Rattlers 5-3 in the first half, they could not find the back of the net. The game remained scoreless at halftime.

The second half was a different story. ASU midfielder Madison Bourzikas drew first blood in the 55th minute, and midfielder Brianna Rodriguez later iced the game in the 75th minute, propelling the Belles to a 2-0 victory.

Angelo State hits the road for its next two games, starting on Saturday, Oct. 19 against Eastern New Mexico.
