Two vehicle collision in front of ASU

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — A collision involving two vehicles occurred in the afternoon of Oct. 20.

The Collison occurred in the Johnson Street and Dena Drive intersection in front of Angelo State University. The two vehicles involved was a red Mitsubishi and a maroon Ford. Both drivers were the only ones in the car.

According to a San Angelo Police Department Officer, the Mitsubishi driver was going north on Johnson and tried to turn left while the Ford driver was traveling south on Johnson. The Mitsubishi driver failed to yield on that left turn on Dena Drive causing the collision.

No injuries were caused at the collision. Both cars had to be towed away. The driver did not receive a citation for failing to yield to the right of way.
