Gofundme established for family of Odessa twins

ODESSA, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- The family and friends of twin girls from Odessa who drowned Wednesday have launched a fundraiser aimed at raising money for a memorial service.

The twins, who celebrated their first birthday just two days before they died, were left unattended in a bathtub by their caretaker who fell asleep while watching TV, investigators said.

“The parents and family of the sweetest one year old twin baby girls are now left with not only devastation, but the financial strain of planning their services. We have started this gofundme after a great outpour from our community to help in such a tragic time. All proceeds will go directly to the planning of the services and the family’s needs during this time. We are very thankful for all of the condolences, prayers, financial help, and privacy as we navigate one of the hardest times as a family,” the Gofundme read.
