Gov. Mike Parson's Office on Friday announced the most recent judicial appointment to the 26th Judicial Circuit.

According to a release from the governor's office, Andrew J. Hardwick, of Versailles, was appointed as a Circuit Judge. Hardwick won the primary on Aug. 6 and is running unopposed for the general election in November.

The 26th Judicial Circuit covers Camden, Miller, Moniteau, Morgan and Laclede counties.

Hardwick will be willing the vacancy created when Parson appointed Matthew Hamer to the Missouri Courts of Appeals, Southern District in March.
