COUNCIL AWARDS BIDS FOR VARIOUS PROJECTS

The Carrollton Town Council approved bids for several projects during its meeting on Monday, October 7.

The council approved a bid from Shane Poe Construction to work on a sewer project on West 1st Street. Mayor Susan Bliss says the first bidder the council selected backed out from the contract.

The council had to release the first bidder from the contract during its previous meeting.

Carrollton also awarded a bid to Apple Roofing for a roof repair agreement for Walnut Hills and the old pool house. Bliss says the council hopes to have those roofs repaired before winter.
