5th Annual KMOX Blood Drive in Memory of Brett Blume

It's that time of year when we stop to remember our former friend and colleague Brett Blume. Brett was a reporter at KMOX for 17 years and was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer that ultimately took him from us in October 2019.

We started this blood drive for Brett when he was diagnosed because he needed 36 units of blood during his cancer fight. Today, the annual blood drive serves as a heartfelt tribute, benefiting patients in need while ensuring Brett’s memory remains alive.
