Pictured: World’s Most Luxurious WW3 Bunkers With Go-Kart Tracks and Jet Skis

Billionaires are reportedly setting a trend of building “ apocalypse -proof” World War III bunkers complete with go-kart tracks, White House-style medical suites, and massive movie theaters.

Knewz.com has learned that Al Corbi, the founder of the United States -based firm SAFE, has been designing and building these lavish bunkers for the uber-rich for around 50 years now.

Pictures and concept art for these bunkers show that they are nothing like the nuclear shelters featured in post-apocalyptic video games and shows like Fallout .

While the trend has become widely known in recent years, Corbi says that the mega-rich have been building nuclear bunkers for decades now and that the trend has been popular among billionaires since the Cold War .

The most significant change he has observed in the trend in recent years is the decision to install state-of-the-art medical suites.

The health side of the business is run by Corbi’s wife Naomi, who boasted that the medical facilities available at the luxury bunkers they design are “comparable to what the White House medical unit has.”

Corbi explained the logic behind the growing practice of investing in in-house well-equipped premium medical facilities: to ensure a healthy living after surviving a potentially humanity-ending event.

One of the concept photos of the lavish bunkers shared by The Sun U.S. shows that the constructions also feature a decontamination chamber.

“Think about it, you can have this $100 million bunker, but it would be useless if you’re bleeding out, or something is happening to you,” Corbi explained.

“Let’s assume the worst. Nuclear holocaust. Zip, everything’s gone… You can come out pretty quick, but what are you coming out to?”

“So that is your new home, at least for the foreseeable future… So you need a system that […] keeps you healthy,” Corbi added.

“Two – you can control the environment – tactical, extraction, whatever you have to do, and three – you want to be comfortable and safe for six days, two weeks, or 30 years.”

Elaborating on the state of medical suites, Naomi weighed in:

“We provide them with the tools, the education , there are systems in there where if they’re by themselves, they can click a button where it’ll walk them through the process of whatever it is that they need.”

However, just staying alive and healthy would not be enough, as the designer and builder couple says—one needs to ensure they are entertained for the remainder of their days in the “five-star” underground bunker.

Corbi said in a statement that the most popular mode of entertainment his clientele prefers in these bunkers is a movie theater.

“You know you want a theatre. If you could see the libraries in these theatres, it even amazes me,” the SAFE founder said.

“They’ve got more movies than any one major network has, they have a larger archive collection of entertainment than any one entertainment center.”

He also said that he has also received requests for the installation of dual-use facilities in the nuclear bunkers over the years.

For instance, he has received requests for escape tunnels that can double as go-kart racing tracks and protective moats that can be used for jet-skiing.

Commenting on the facilities available at these bunkers – which seem like a supervillain’s lair or maybe a more lighthearted version of the “Batcave,” the fictional futuristic base of operations of Batman – Corbi was quoted as saying:

“It’s so funny because we watch these spy movies all the time with these bug outs and these safe houses – well, they do exist… And they exist for the wealthy.”

Corbi added that the uber-rich who have residences in several major cities are now starting to build a luxury nuclear bunker in each of them.

His company is also planning to build bunkers underneath noted global and commercial hubs, with reports suggesting that one of them will be built in London.

“We are building our first-ever commercial space in a city center, I can’t say where, that will have bunkers underneath for clients to purchase… The clients can pick their hub,” Naomi explained in a statement.

“You may never know this exists, but there will be a place there where the ultra, ultra, ultra-uber will know something that no-one knows about underground,” she added .

Corbi had previously explained in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter that the ultra-wealthy class is preparing for multiple apocalyptic scenarios while investing in the lavish bunkers—especially power grid failure.

“A lot of these guys are buying up King Air or older planes that don’t have the electronic avionics, and keeping one or two older cars built before 1986 in their collection, so they’ll still function in an EMP [electromagnetic pulse],” Corbi told the outlet at the time.

“The newness is it’s shifting from the idea of nuclear ka-boom to protection against local threats. The real threat is the power grid… In situations like this, sustaining your life is as important as food and water.”
