    KNOB NOSTER TEENAGER INJURED IN COLLISION WITH ATV

    A Knob Noster teenager suffered serious injuries after she was struck by an ATV on Friday evening.

    The Missouri State Highway Patrol says that just after 7 p.m., the unidentified 17-year-old ran into the path of an all-terrain vehicle that was heading west on SE 425th Road, southwest of Whiteman Air Force Base. The 15-year-old driver of the ATV attempted to swerve and avoid a collision, but was unable to do so. The teenager was taken by ambulance to a Kansas City area hospital. The ATV driver had no reported injuries.
