KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - One driver is fighting for her life while another remains stable after a head-on collision along a rural Missouri highway. The Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates that just before 9:25 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, emergency crews were called to the Grand River Bridge on Missouri Highway 18, about 4 miles west of Clinton, with reports of a 2-vehicle collision.
Alleged arson and DWI lead to charges for Purdin resident
A Purdin man has been charged with two felonies following an alleged attempt to set fire to a house in Chillicothe on August 22. According to online court records, Johnny Lee Collis, 32, faces charges of attempted first-degree arson and driving while intoxicated as an aggravated offender. No bond has been set for his release.
