Wheatland Woman Arrested This Morning on Robbery, Battery Warrants
Knox County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Wheatland woman this morning following service of a robbery warrant. 24 year-old Angela Hernandez was arrested this morning at Vincenne’ Autumn Ridge Apartments. She is charged with two counts of robbery causing bodily injury, with one of those upgraded to serious bodily injury. She is also charged with a single count of battery resulting in bodily injury.

Knox County Fair queen crowned
BICKNELL — With tears of joy and a roar of applause from the crowd, Madison Hedge was crowned as the 2024 Knox County Fair Queen at the county fairgrounds Friday night. Nine contestants put forth their best smiles for the packed Vincennes University Pavilion, showing off their best dresses and sharing their years of experience with 4-H and other achievements.

Commissioners approve alley closure
VINCENNES - Knox County Commissioners approved vacating an alleyway in Vincennes, along with a couple more items, finishing up in a mere 15 minutes at the Tuesday night meeting. Commissioner Kellie Streeter said the issue was brought to her attention a couple of months ago.
