BOW approves Watermelon Festival requests; schedule shared
VINCENNES — As the Watermelon Festival approaches Aug. 2-3, Vincennes Board of Public Works and Safety BOW approved temporary street closures for the weekend festivities. Jamie Neil, president of the Knox County Chamber of Commerce requested at the meeting Monday evening for the closure of Main Street from 1st and 2nd Street starting at 2 p.m. and then roads around Patrick Henry Square starting Aug. 2 at 7 a.m.
