Sunset on Central returns tomorrow, along with Central Filling Station

With school back in session and the weather cooling down, how about one last summer festival before settling in for fall?

Sunset on Central is Saturday, with live music happening all day along the Central Street corridor. Bands include High Heat, Drugstore Cowboy and Hey Steve performing at venues like Yee-Haw Brewing Company, the award-winning Schulz Brau Brewing Company and Central Filling Station, the former food truck park returning for this special occasion.

There's a chance the food truck park could come back on a semi-normal basis , and this is your first opportunity to support it since the venue chose not to reopen after a routine seasonal closing.

If you want also want to support the Volunteers during the music festival, try the Vol Lager by Yee-Haw. The brewery has partnered with the University of Tennessee at Knoxville to be the exclusive craft beer provider of the Tennessee Volunteers.

If you're looking for something stronger, Ole Smoky Moonshine recently became the exclusive moonshine of the Vols. You can get in the Big Orange spirit with Ole Smoky's orange moonshine flavor.

If you're out partying at Sunset on Central, save your energy for the silent disco fundraiser starting at 10 p.m. Tickets are $12 , and proceeds benefit Knox Music Coalition, the festival's nonprofit partner this year.
