Meet the local candidates for Tennessee Senate and House at two forums

Voters will have a chance to ask state Senate and state House candidates their questions at forums planned before the election.

The Knoxville/Knox County League of Women's Voters and its partners, including Knox News, will host the candidates and allow participants to submit questions.

All of the candidates were invited to participate.

Candidates for state House of Representatives Districts 14, 15, 16, 18 and 89 : 6:30-8 p.m. Sept. 30 at West High School's auditorium, 3300 Sutherland Ave. in Knoxville

Candidates for state Senate District 6: 6:30-7:30 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Knoxville Public Works Service Center, 3131 Morris Ave. in Knoxville.

Election Day is Nov. 5.
