    Tennessee football faces its first real test of the 2024 season in Saturday's game against NC State in Charlotte.

    The Vols stomped Chattanooga last week in the season opener, but the challenge is tougher on Saturday.

    NC State struggled with Western Carolina for three quarters before finally dispatching of the FCS foe. The Wolfpack defense allowed 241 passing yards and two touchdowns through the air last week.
