Dollywood fans will have to wait for some other day to enjoy the popular theme park. Dollywood is closed Sept. 26 in preparation for Hurricane Helene and after closing at 4 p.m. Sept. 25 due to inclement weather.

“The National Weather Service has indicated that Hurricane Helene is projected to affect our area over the next several days. As a precaution and for the safety of our hosts and guests, Dollywood Theme Park will be closed today,” Dollywood announced this morning on its website and social media accounts.

Guests with tickets dated for Sept. 26 can use them on the next operating day. Guests also can request a refund by calling 1-800-DOLLYWOOD.

Dollywood resorts DreamMore and HeartSong Lodge will remain open to accommodate current guests, Dollywood stated.

An update regarding operations for Sept. 27 could be announced later today.
