    Social media videos, photos show Tennessee scenes of Helene's raging floods, winds

    Tropical storm Helene left people stranded and thousands without power amid flash floods and downed trees in its wake after pounding East Tennessee.

    Many parts of East Tennessee are being ravaged by floods with more rain to come. Downtown Newport is under an evacuation alert because of a failure in the Waterville Dam. Eastbound I-40 is closed after floods ripped part of the interstate away. It is reported that 84,310 customers are without power , and majority of those customers are in Eastern Tennessee.
