How Morgan Wallen Makes History With Newly-Announced Second Knoxville Show

In a historic move, Morgan Wallen added a second show at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee, making the East Tennessee-born singer-songwriter the first artist ever to play two nights at the venue.

Wallen returned to Instagram on Monday morning (July 15) to announce that he’s “ coming home .” He revealed details about his first show at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, which was set for Sunday, September 22. Tickets went on sale on Wednesday morning (July 17) at 11 a.m. ET. According to a press release issued by the singer's record label on Wednesday, Wallen met the response to that show with a second and final hometown concert added on Friday, September 20. Tickets to that event will be available beginning on Thursday (July 18) at 11 a.m. ET. The release notes that 150,000 concertgoers are expected to attend both nights at Neyland Stadium. HARDY and ERNEST will also take the stage both nights.

“I've had the honor of playing in a lot of college, MLB and NFL stadiums the past two years, but getting to play to my hometown at Neyland Stadium, nothing tops this for a boy from East Tennessee,” Wallen said in a press release on Monday. Wallen is in the midst of his headlining “One Night At A Time 2024 Tour” with Bailey Zimmerman , Jelly Roll , Jon Pardi , Lainey Wilson , Nate Smith , Bryan Martin , Lauren Watkins and Ella Langley on select dates. He also looks ahead to a run of European dates that kick off at the end of next month.
