Tennessee football landed four-star linebacker Christian Gass, who chose the Vols over Georgia and Southern Cal.

Gass committed to UT on Saturday, announcing his decision on Instagram and X, formerly known as Twitter.

He received scholarship offers from more than 25 schools, including half the SEC.

Gass is a 6-foot-3, 215-pounder at Eastside High in Covington, Georgia. Last season, he posted 68 tackles, 11 tackles-for-loss, two sacks and one forced fumble.

Gass is the No. 22 linebacker and No. 203 player overall in the 2025 class, according to 247Sports Composite. Gass can sign on Dec. 4, when the early signing period begins. He is the 18th commitment in UT's 2025 class.

Gass joins quarterback George MacIntyre, offensive lineman Douglas Utu, defensive lineman Mariyon Dye, wide receiver Travis Smith, defensive lineman Ethan Utley, wide receiver Radarious Jackson, edge rusher Jayden Loftin, offensive lineman Nic Moore and tight end Jack Van Dorselaer (all four stars).

The Vols also are bringing in running back Justin Baker, safety Sidney Walton, offensive tackle Antoni Kade Ogumoro, cornerback Tre Poteat, cornerback Dylan Lewis, defensive lineman Charles House, wide receiver Joakim Dodson and star cornerback Tyler Redmond (all three stars).
