A 67-year-old man has died following a house fire early Sunday morning in the 5900 block of E. Flagstaff in Bel Aire, west of 45th Street North & Woodlawn.

Fire crews from Sedgwick County and Wichita found smoke and flames coming from the home; police found a man in the front yard with burns.

Fire personnel located an older man inside. Both victims were hospitalized, and the 67-year-old man died at about 3:00 a.m. Sunday.

A 41-year-old man from Bel Aire was arrested on suspicion of involuntary manslaughter; he's being held on a quarter-million-dollar bond.

The Kansas State Fire Marshal is conducting the investigation; the home is a total loss, with damage estimated at $160,000.
