One injured in northeast Wichita shooting

One person was critically injured in a shooting in northeast Wichita Friday night.

Emergency crews were dispatched around 9:15 p.m. to the 2100 block of N. Erie Street, west of Wichita State.

Wichita Police are investigating.

In other news, one person suffered critical injuries in a motorcycle crash Friday night.

It happened around 9:30 p.m., in the area of 55th and Broadway. Crews were dispatched following a crash of a car and a motorcycle.

The victim was transported to the hospital for their injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
