Overnight shooting in southeast Wichita leaves two dead

Wichita Police are investigating a shooting in southeast Wichita which has left two people dead.

The call came in just after 7 a.m. from the 800 block of S Edgemoor, just north of Lincoln Street.

Wichita Police released a statement saying there is no threat to the community. There is an ongoing investigation and investigators and crime scene personnel will remain on the scene.
