KDOT to host meeting for final recommendations on K-254 corridor

The Kansas Department of Transportation is reminding the public about the final meeting on recommendations for the K-254 Corridor Management Plan for Butler and Sedgwick counties. The meeting will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at Circle Middle School, 14697 SW 20th St., in Benton. The K-254 Corridor Management Plan includes 22 miles of K-254 from Wichita on the west to El Dorado on the east.

An informational video will be shown at 5:45 p.m. The video will also be available online but will not be replayed during the meeting. The meeting will allow attendees to review the proposed project improvements, provide input and speak one-on-one with project staff. Meeting information will also be available online at the time of the meeting for review and comment through Oct. 23 at ike.ksdot.gov/k-254-corridor.
