ROGERS, Ark. ( KNWA/KFTA ) — Rogers police say a child fell out of a moving vehicle in Rogers on Oct. 14.

According to Don Lisi with the Rogers Police Department, a nine-year-old child fell out of the back passenger seat of a vehicle around 2:45 p.m. while it was turning at the intersection of Dixieland Road and Pleasant Grove Road after the door opened unexpectedly.

Lisi says the child was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.

Officers are still investigating the incident.

Use seatbelts!! I had a Datson car and it would do that on turns! I always made sure those doors were locked when my girls were in the back seat.
