    Texas company buys Prairie Creek Marina for $30 million

    ROGERS, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A part of Beaver Lake has been sold in an off-market deal, according to Talk Business and Politics.

    Prairie Creek Marina was a full-service marina on Beaver Lake that offered boat slips, storage and more. Craig Smith had owned the marina for nearly 30 years . It was sold to Allied Strategic Partners , a Dallas-based private asset management firm, for $30 million.

    The marina was built in 1966 and is located at 1 Prairie Creek Marina Drive.

    Allied Strategic Partners focuses on the marine and waterfront hospitality business. The firm owns marinas in Kansas, Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama.

    The owner told Talk Business that the new owners have exciting new plans for the area.

    The water rights for Prairie Creek Marina will continue to be leased from the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers.
