    Silver Dollar City to build a resort in 2026

    BRANSON, Mo. — Silver Dollar City has announced an enormous new expansion that will span over 1,200 acres.

    Silver Dollar City announces new 2025 expansion including seasonal attractions

    Silver Dollar City announced that in late 2026 it will open an SDC-themed resort, known as Silver Dollar City Parks & Resort.

    This is the first theme park resort hotel in America’s heartland. It will be constructed on top of an Ozark mountain and will be seven stories tall which will look over Table Rock Lake. Thomas said it will have two pools, restaurants, and 17,000 square feet for meetings and conferences.

    According to a press release, the theme park is investing $500 million over the next decade on the consturction of new attractions including the development of 1,200 acres adjacent to the theme park.

    The expansion has been teased as the “largest investment in the company’s 65-year history” according to SDC President, Brad Thomas. Visitors will be able to “stay and play”.

    “This is more than just growth—it’s a new era,” Thomas said.

    “This investment showcases Silver Dollar City’s commitment to tourism and economic growth in the Ozarks and for the State of Missouri.” said Missouri Governor Mike Parson. “We are excited to see this project bring thousands of new jobs and millions of new visitors to our great state.”
