FAYETTEVILLE — Several recruits will be in attendance for Saturday night’s game with No. 8 LSU facing Arkansas.

The Hogs are coming off a win over No. 4 Tennessee and now try to add LSU to the list of victims this season. Among the recruits will be Chico (Calif.) Pleasant Valley tight end Gavin Garretson, 6-7, 240, for an official visit.

Garretson committed to San Diego State on Sept. 8 where his brother, Gabe, is a sophomore tight end. Gavin also doubles at the edge position for his high school team. In his first five games this season, Garretson caught 7 passes for 145 yards and 2 touchdowns. On defense, Gavin has 22 tackles, 17 solo, 7.5 for loss, 5.5 sacks and 4 quarterback hurries. Arkansas doesn’t have a tight end in the Class of 2025.

Chattanooga (Tenn.) Baylor School Class of 2025 four-star wide receiver-athlete Cameron Sparks, 6-4, 210, is slated to be at Arkansas for an unofficial visit. Sparks announced on Feb. 8 he was down to six schools and at that time the Hogs weren’t on the list. He had Tennessee, Florida State, Michigan, Georgia, Miami and Auburn on his list. But some of those schools have struggled in 2024.

Another 2025 prospect visiting is Bryan (Texas) Rodder three-star wide receiver Jaquise Martin, 5-10, 180, who committed to Tulsa on July 25.

Arkansas is among the early offers for Class of 2026 Baton Rouge (La.) Catholic offensive lineman Blaise Thomassie, 6-4, 260. The Hogs are also one of 17 offers for Lake Cormarant (Miss.) Class of 2026 cornerback Raderrion Daniels, 6-1, 170. Rumors have Ole Miss and the Hogs high on Daniels early wish list.

In the Class of 2027, one of the top players in Texas in that class is Anna offensive lineman Peyton Miller, 6-5, 280. Miller has 19 offers despite being a young recruit. The Hogs have made him a priority with Sam Pittman and Eric Mateos.

Another 2027 prospect is The Woodlands (Texas) The John Cooper School tight end Jake Sneed, 6-5, 220. Sneed is probably someone to watch for a possible offer this weekend.

Among the commitments to Arkansas slated to be in attendance are Conway quarterback Grayson Wilson, 6-4, 205; Carthage (Texas) offensive lineman Kash Courtney, 6-4, 285; Owasso (Okla.) offensive tackle Blake Cherry, 6-6, 295; Warren wide receiver Antonio Jordan, 6-6, 230; Mobile (Ala.) Faith Academy edge Trent Sellers, 6-6, 235; and the Little Rock Parkview pair of athlete Quentin Murphy, 6-1, 205, and running back Cameron Settles, 5-11, 198. Franklin (Tenn.) Page Class of 2025 punter Gavin Rush, 6-3, 185, is a preferred walk-on pledge to the Hogs and he will be in attendance.

The Class of 2026 Arkansas pledges slated to visit are Hot Springs Lakeside offensive lineman Tucker Young, 6-4 1/2, 300; Gaffney (S.C.) quarterback Jayvon Gilmore, 6-5, 195; and Fayetteville safety Kyndrick Williams, 6-1, 195.

Several other recruits are slated to be in attendance. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. and televised on ESPN.
