Board members talked about a recent compensation policy on how to pay employees more. The agenda and minutes state that the library does not have a policy in place which could result in “inconsistencies in compensation.” The policy outlines salary ranges broken into four quartiles based on hiring date.

The compensation action plan says it would conduct a salary study every three years to ensure it aligns with market trends.

    The board approved the policy.
