Woman accused of threatening to kill two people in Pea Ridge

PEA RIDGE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Pea Ridge police say they arrested a woman after she threatened to kill two people on August 31, according to a news release.

Jacqueline Wilson was booked into the Benton County Detention Center on aggravated assault, aggravated residential burglary, aggravated assault on a family or household member and first-degree interference with emergency communication charges.

Officers with PRPD responded to a verbal disturbance call at the Garden Apartments on East Pickens Road.

Once on the scene, an officer found Wilson standing outside of the apartment arguing with a man standing in the doorway. As the officer moved towards the dispute, Wilson was allegedly pointing a gun at the man.

The release said the officer pointed his gun at Wilson and ordered her to put the gun down. She reportedly lowered the gun but did not drop it.

Wilson then walked away from the officer and got into her vehicle. She was confronted by the officer and allegedly told him “Shoot me.”

More officers arrived and took Wilson into custody without incident, the release said. No injuries were reported.

Officers learned during the investigation that Wilson reportedly took the phone that the man used to call 911 and threatened to kill the man and another person inside the apartment.

Wilson is being held on a $150,000 bond.
