    Pumpkin patches, more fall fun ramp up in NWA

    FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas (KNWA/KFTA) — The wind is getting a little bit chillier, which means the fun is just beginning in Northwest Arkansas.

    Pumpkin patches and orchards

    McGarrah Farms Rivercrest Orchard

    Discover a large pumpkin patch and sunflower fields, along with various activities such as a low ropes course, a barrel train, hayrides, zip-lines, a trackless train, a corn pool and a 6-acre barnyard play area.

    Vanzant Fruit Farm

    Established in 1949 by Fred and Kahylene Vanzant, Vanzant Fruit Farms offers peaches, apples and grapes. Their son, Stephen, manages the farm and Vanzant’s Market, which sells fresh produce, jams, jellies and local vegetables.

    The farm’s pumpkin patch opens October 1.

    Corn mazes

    Farmland Adventures

    Farmland Adventures offers a variety of fall attractions suitable for families, school groups, church groups and scouting groups.

    Admission includes access to the giant corn maze, mini corn maze, wagon rides, pedal karts, pony rides, petting farm, pig races, human foosball, kid’s corner, tire play area, roping area, spider web climber and various flower fields.

    Monarch Flight Festival

    In downtown Springdale, the free Monarch Flight Festival celebrates the endangered Monarch Butterfly, its habitat and its annual migration stopover from Canada to Mexico.

    Benton County Fair

    One of the largest events in the region, the Benton County Fair features a variety of activities including livestock shows, carnival rides, live entertainment and exhibits showcasing local crafts and produce.

    Mt. Sequoyah announces free fall concert series

    Fayetteville Falltoberfest

    Fayetteville Falltoberfest 2024 returns to Dickson Street on Sept. 29, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. The expanded event will feature five stages with regional and national musicians, fall-themed activities and games for all ages, art installations from local artists, an Oktoberfest Beer Garden, a non-alcoholic cocktail showcase, the Dogtoberfest Dog Show and the Mr. Oktoberfest Pageant.

    Local food and vendors will be available, along with activities and promotions inside Dickson Street businesses.

    October

    Junk Ranch Fall Show

    Junk Ranch Fall Show features over 250 booths spread across the grounds, market barn, farmhouse and festival tents.

    Vendors from around the United States will showcase a range of items, including antiques, vintage clothing, handmade goods, boutique items, original art and seasonal plants.

    Arkansas Apple Festival

    In 1975, a group of nine citizens founded the Apple Festival in Lincoln, inspired by the defunct Apple Blossom Festival in Rogers, and reflecting Lincoln’s apple history, according to the event’s website.

    The Arkansas Apple Festival features over 100 craft vendors, a variety of food options including funnel cakes and deep-fried treats, free apple slices, and the opportunity to meet Miss Arkansas Apple Festival.

    Attendees can also enjoy a parade with horses, firetrucks, and other vehicles at 10 a.m. on Saturday, followed by a tractor show on the square.

    Vintage Market Days of NWA

    Vintage Market Days is a vintage-inspired market offering original art, antiques, clothing, jewelry, handmade items, home décor, outdoor furnishings, food and seasonal plants.

    The three-day event is held multiple times a year in various communities.

    It’s Fall Y’all Craft Fair

    Attendees will meet over 100 makers, artist, crafters and foodies at the annual It’s Fall Y’all Craft Fair from Oct. 17-20.

    War Eagle

    The War Eagle Fair, founded in 1954, showcases handcrafted works from Ozarks crafters. Over 250 booths line the banks of War Eagle Creek, offering a scenic fall setting for a weekend experience.
