Fayetteville hosts Maker Faire for third year in a row

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — On Sept. 7, the Fayetteville Public Library hosted the Maker Faire, an event held across the country that features artists, crafters and scientists showcasing their projects and innovations.

“Makers is a term that refers to the intersection of art and technology, including electronics and coding,” Bradley Thompson, who works in the Fabrications & Robotics Lab at the Fayetteville Public Library, said. “It’s a fantastic opportunity for both kids and adults to explore the endless possibilities in these fields.”

The event provides an opportunity for people of all ages to explore these fields, Thompson said.
