    Air National Guard issues noise advisory for Fort Smith

    FORT SMITH, Ark. ( KNWA/KFTA ) — The city of Fort Smith says there will be larger volumes of noise in the area starting on September 20.

    The 188th Wing, Air National Guard issued a noise advisory on Sept. 9

    F-35 fighter jets from an Air Force base in Florida began conducting pilot qualification tests on Sept. 9.

    The city says to anticipate a larger volume of noise during this time.
