Onyx Coffee Lab nominated for ‘best independent coffee shop’ award

ROGERS, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A Northwest Arkansas coffee company is in the running for “best independent coffee shop” as a part of national polls conducted by USA Today .

People can vote for the Onyx Coffee Lab to be featured in the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.

Onyx is one of 20 coffee shops in the running for the 10 best in the category. As of September 12, Onyx is in tenth place in the voting.

“If you’re looking for seriously good coffee in Northwest Arkansas, visit one of Onyx Coffee Lab’s cafes — their mantra is to ‘never settle for good enough.’ They have high standards for acquiring, roasting, and serving their beans, and the quality is evident in every cup,” USA Today said.

Onyx has locations in Rogers, Fayetteville, Bentonville and Springdale.

Voting closes at 11 a.m. CT on October 7. USA TODAY will announce the winners of the competition on October 16.
