Benton County Sheriff’s Office hosts Parents’ Night Out

BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The Benton County Sheriff’s Office invites parents to a two-hour presentation on October 21 hosted by the sheriff’s office’s cybercrime detectives covering children’s safety and technology.

According to the sheriff’s office , the event will be at Rogers Heritage High School.

The Parents’ Night Out presentation will cover:

• Popular apps that children use
• Techniques kids use to evade parental monitoring
• A live demonstration
• An open Q&A session

Sign-up for the event can be found here . Registration closes on October 18 at 2 p.m. Each attendee must register individually and provide all required information.

Due to the sensitive nature of the content, children are not permitted to attend.
