    FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — As the leaves change the autumn festivities start to take on Northwest Arkansas. From fall festivals to Oktoberfest you can find your next cup full of apple cider at one of these many events.

    Alcohol-free beer is gaining popularity – even at Oktoberfest

    Farmington Fall Festival – Saturday, Sept. 28

    Fayetteville’s Mr. Oktoberfest – Sunday, Sept. 29

    Fayetteville’s Dogtoberfest – Sunday, Sept. 29

    • From 12-1:30 p.m., all dogs are welcome to register and participate in a dog pageant.
    • Dogs will have eight categories for judging. The winner gets a $100 gift card to Hounds Lounge Pet and Resort Spa – Fayetteville. All participating pups will get a wag bag.

    Fayetteville’s Falltober Fest – Sunday, Sept. 29

    • From noon to 6 p.m. throughout Dickson Street, the annual fall festival kicks off.
    • All ages are welcome to walk around the area and enjoy the beer garden, local maker and art market and much more!

    Fort Smith Fall Festival & Oktoberfest – Saturday, Oct. 5

    • Starting at 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Oktoberfest starts at 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
    • The Fort Smith Fall Festival has collaborated with the Fort Smith National Historic Site and local museums and organizations to create a day with history and entertainment for all.
    • Oktoberfest will be hosted by the Fort Smith Downtown Business Association at 601 Garrison Avenue.
    • Local food trucks, carnival games, live music and a pub crawl!

    Rogers Oktoberfest NWA – Saturday, Oct. 12

    • From 2 p.m.- 9 p.m. at the Railyard Live 1 p.m. for VIP members
    • More than 22 regional breweries, wine and food will bring the German-themed beer festival together. Tickets are needed for this event
