OKLAHOMA (KNWA/KFTA) — The deadline to register to vote in Oklahoma for the November election is a little more than a week away.

The Oklahoma Election Board said as of October 1, 2.4 million of the four million residents are registered for November’s election. The latest data from OEB shows that 29,984 are registered in LeFlore County and 24,922 are registered in Sequoyah County.

Do campaign yard signs even make a difference?

Still looking to register? Here’s what you need to know:

    Registration

Oklahoma residents can register in person or online . If you want to register in person you can go to the County Election Board’s Office with your ID.

Residents must register by October 11 to participate.

Online registration can be done through the state’s Online Registration System . Online registration is not an option if you don’t have a driver’s license or state ID and a signature on file with Service Oklahoma .

If you plan to vote by mail, you can fill out a Voter Registration Application through the Oklahoma Voter Portal online or download a copy of a Voter Registration Application . Your application must be printed, signed, mailed or hand-delivered to your county’s election board.

Can you stop the inflow of campaign fliers to your mailbox?

Registration can also be done at your local DMV.

If you need to update your existing registration because of moving or a name change, you will need to fill out a new Voter Registration application.

If you live in the same county where you originally registered, you can change any details including address and political affiliation through the voter portal.

For information on registration requirements, visit the state’s website .

    What’s on the ballot?

All Oklahoma counties will vote for the U.S. president, corporation commissioner, a U.S. representative and two state questions.

Am I still registered to vote?

In September, Gov. Kevin Stitt announced more than 400,000 voter registrations were removed over the course of four years.

Nexstar’s KFOR reports that two main common reasons were why so many were removed, voters moved states or counties and voter inactivity.

34% of Democratic voters were removed due to inactivity, Misha Mohr, public information officer for the Oklahoma State Election Board, said to KFOR.

Mohr said it is important to check your status and if you were removed, most voters can register again.

    Where can I vote early?

In LeFlore and Sequoyah counties, residents can vote early at the county’s election board offices.
