A man known as the Tesla road rage driver is being released after serving less than a year of his five-year sentence.

KNX News' Emily Valdez reports that Nathaniel Radimak went on a rampage throughout Southern California for months, targeting predominantly women and older people, attacking them and their cars with a pipe or crowbar.

One victim said of his early release, "I highly doubt Radimak has learned from his mistakes and will be coming out as a changed person after a short time. I am worried he will try to find the victims whose names have been released."

She believes he is a 'menace to society,' and she strongly disagrees with his release.

Gloria Allred represents three of his victims. The high-power attorney said, "This situation is another example of why we need truth in sentencing laws and why the district attorney of Los Angeles County needs to do a much better job of communication with victims as to what a sentence really means."

The victims state they were not consulted on Radimak's plea deal or his early release.

Allred said, "People should be outraged by the lack of protection and rights of victims, putting a lot of innocent people at risk and sending criminals the wrong message."

KNX News has contacted L.A. County DA George Gascon for comment and is waiting to hear back.

Radimak has a lengthy criminal record spanning decades across several states.

There is no official word on where he will be released.
