The California Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert on Wednesday morning in search of nine-month-old Jaydan Avalos, adding that he was believed to be with 18-year-old David Avalos, who is considered armed and dangerous.

The Hunting Park Police Department Commander confirmed to KNX News that the baby was found safe and that they are in the process of reuniting him with his mother.

    Avalos, however, remains at large.

Authorities are also searching for a red Lexus Sedan with a California license plate that reads 9DDZ693, as they believe the car was used in the abduction.

Anyone who sees Avalos was urged to call 9-1-1.
