    Fairland beats Wyandotte 68-45 in regional semis

    Fairland boys basketball punches its ticket to the regional championship and Area playoffs.

    FAIRLAND, Okla. - The Fairland Owls host the Wyandotte Bears for the Class 2A Area IV Regional High School Boys Basketb all tournament. Each team won districts last weekend to advance to this game.

    Wyandotte kept it close in the first half. The Bears led 31-29 at the halftime period. In the second half, the Owls turned things around. Fairland goes on to beat Wyandotte 68-45.

    The Owls now advance to the C lass 2A Area IV Regional finals. The Owls will travel to Colcord, OK, for the finals. The game is scheduled for this Saturday at 7:30 pm. The Owls also clinched a spot in the Area playoffs. Wyandotte will move to the consolation bracket of Area IV.
