MoDOT traffic impacts: 3 Route closures expected in Nevada next week

VERNON COUNTY, Mo. (KOAM) - Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is alerting the public of 3 route closures happening between February 26-28, along Vernon County Route KK west of Nevada due to pipe replacements.

The schedule of closures is as followed:

• February 26 – Between Vernon County roads 500 & 600 - 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• February 27 – Between Vernon County roads 500 & 600 - 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• February 28 – Between Vernon County roads 900 & 1000 - 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

MoDOT has issued the following traffic impacts that can be expected.

Traffic Impacts:

• Route KK CLOSED where crews are working
• Drivers will have access to driveways and entrances on either end of the work zone but will not be able to travel through the work zone
• Drivers urged to find alternate routes
• No signed detours planned
• Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
