Boil order rescinded for portion of Neosho Co., KS

NEOSHO COUNTY, Kan. -- (KOAM) The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded a boil water advisory for a portion of Neosho County Rural Water District 4.

The order was in place for the section south of 47 Highway and west of Lyons Road.

It was in place because of a line break causing a loss of pressure in the system. That break has since been repaired.

Laboratory testing samples collected from water district indicate no evidence of bacteriological contamination and the system has been deemed safe by the KDHE.
